Star Wars games keep missing The Clone Wars' coolest battles
Star Wars video games have allowed fans to experience some of the saga's most iconic moments, but one particular battle in the Clone Wars has sadly been overlooked.
Many Star Wars games have focused on the excitement of The Clone Wars, but no game has recreated the coolest battles in Star Wars. This epic sci-fi saga has inspired many beloved games, from shooters like Star Wars: Battlefront to third-person action games like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Many of these Star Wars games immerse players in iconic moments and places from the series, but one epic battle has yet to appear in any game.
While some of the greatest Star Wars gaming moments feature original characters and locations, many fans are more interested in revisiting iconic movie moments. The Star Wars: Battlefront series was particularly focused on conveying this fantasy, with most entries casting players as clones or stormtroopers engaging in memorable battles. Fans can play as a rebel soldier defending against the Empire on Hoth, or as clone troopers of the newly formed Republic battling droids on the dunes of Geonosis. However, while the series has a long list of planets to visit and skirmishes to recreate, there's one particularly exciting battle that's never been seen in a Star Wars game.

The original Star Wars: Battlefront game had players relive the space battles over Coruscant and Anakin's rampage in the Jedi Temple, but Greyworth's invasion of the city will make Frontline a truly unique level. Jedi's prominent participation could also make combat In future Star Wars Jedi Knight games, the missions on Coruscant will serve as flashback missions.
The Star Wars video game takes players from the seas of Kamino to Bespin's Cloud City, but Coruscant's futuristic streets and skyscrapers are not utilized. The iconic space battle over Coruscant has been in the spotlight, but having players counter Grievous' ground assault on the city could be a thrilling experience. Fighting between giant skyscrapers makes the battles feel truly epic, as do the appearances of famous Jedi like Yoda and Mace Windu. Star Wars: Battlefront Galactic Conquest never had players fighting to protect Chancellor Palpatine from General Grievous's army, but perhaps future Star Wars titles will highlight this important Clone Wars event.
