Like many 90DF pairs, Bilal and Shaeeda met online. Bilal traveled to Shaeeda's native Trinidad and Tobago, where they spent seven days getting to know each other first-hand. He proposed and she accepted, not knowing that COVID-19 would delay their plans by a full two years. When Shaeeda finally arrived in America, things got off to a rough start. Bilal plays a prank on Shaeeda by pretending to live in his dilapidated childhood home instead of the show place where he actually lives. There was also quite a bit of drama between Shaeeda and Bilal's ex-wife, Shahidah Salaam. All of this might seem like a good fit for a dynamic reality show, but many fans aren't interested.
Why 90 Day Fiancé Fans Are Bored With Bilal & Shaeeda’s Storyline
While Bilal and Shaeeda's story seems interesting at first, the only thing they talk about now is having a baby. Shaeeda is absolutely obsessed with getting pregnant, which is understandable since her doctor told her that if she waited longer, she had only a 5% chance of conceiving. Bilal's reluctance to have another child, their conversation about the impasse was so incredibly repetitive that Redditor u/HoodAlumn called the couple's storyline a "snoozefest."

Bilal did take Shaeeda to a different setting (New York City) to try and get the focus off of her The desire to have children. A helicopter ride, a meeting with her best friend, and a giant stale pretzel didn't seem to be doing the trick. No matter how many times Shaeeda tries to explain to Bilal that if they wait If this goes on like this, they won't be able to have children, and he just doesn't understand. The yoga instructor's ultimatum simply went unheeded, and fans are tired of hearing the same arguments over and over again.
TLC Dilemma. Fans get restless when they're bored, but they get angry when the network tries to create drama. If having children is the only thing Bilal and Shaeeda talk about, then that's all there is to it. TLC has been accused of faking scenes before, so maybe they just wanted to keep it real. It's hard to believe that something more interesting didn't happen to Bilal and Shaeeda, but if there was, why didn't TLC show it?
