OnePlus 11 official images: They reveal what's in store for the 2023 flagship

OnePlus has shared official images of the OnePlus 11, which show off two color options and some key features of the upcoming 2023 flagship.

OnePlus has revealed the design of its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 11, and shared official product renders ahead of the launch. At this point, the specifications of the OnePlus 11 have been overwhelming the Internet. The smartphone will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. Like its predecessors, the OnePlus 11 will launch first in China. The China launch is scheduled for January 4, 2023, while the global launch is a month later on February 7.

Official images shared with Screen Rant confirm that the OnePlus 11 will debut in two colors — dark green with a glossy rear finish and a matte black variant with a grainy sandstone finish. OnePlus released the OnePlus 10 Pro in similar colors called Volcanic Black and Forest Emerald. For reference, the OnePlus 11 has a lighter green finish than the iPhone 13. With that in mind, let's talk about the OnePlus 11's overall design.

OnePlus 11 Brings Back The Alert Slider

Looking at images of the OnePlus 11, one can't help but notice the circular camera island with Hasselblad branding center. Like the iPhone 14 Pro, the OnePlus 11 has a very large camera island, covering more than half the width of the phone. OnePlus used a wraparound metal module to blend the prominent camera island into the frame of the phone. Speaking of cameras, the OnePlus 11 is said to come with a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 50MP sensor, a 48MP sensor, and a 32MP sensor.

To keep the design as simple as possible, OnePlus placed its branding at the center of the rear panel. The left spine of the smartphone houses the volume buttons. The right spine of the phone is where OnePlus placed the power button and textured alert slider, which will return to the series a year later. The images also clearly show the bottom panel of the smartphone, which has a speaker outlet with two vents, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM card tray. The top frame has two openings, one of which can be used for a secondary microphone.

For balanced connectivity and better cellular reception, OnePlus placed antenna straps on all four edges, ensuring less obstruction when the user holds the phone with both hands. Although the company made fun of The overall look of the smartphone, which retains the front panel for later use. However, 91mobiles has released hands-on images of the OnePlus 11, showing a punch-hole camera cutout in the upper left corner of the display.
